End of Year Closing, Summer Session & Graduation
- Residence Halls CLOSE Wednesday May 13, 2026 at 5:00 PM
(NO: You may leave your things in your apartment over this break.)
- If you are registered to graduate, submit the Extended Housing form to remain until the ceremony.
- If you are registered for Summer Classes, you can contact our office to ask about Summer Housing rates.
- Fall Move-In Day for returning residents will be posted on the Move-In Day Page
(NO: You must remove all belongings and return your keys by the last day of scheduled exams.)
Summer Session
All residents are expected to move-out of their assigned space for the summer. Summer housing is available to students enrolled in GCC summer classes at an additional cost, but it may be in a different room than the one they occupied during the academic year. If you cannot bring all of your possessions home over summer break, it is recommended that you find a local storage container facility for that period or bring any good condition appliances, items, or non-perishable foods to the SWAP SHOP in the Root, available during the month of May.
